The Belt Program is a new concept that is under development. Until we try to do this with individuals and/or in small and large groups it will be speculative.
If our goal is to get prople to progress quickly we need ot focus on "software use". The least amount of theory required to get to software use. They will learn some theory that way. The problem comes in when they then get inquisitive about theory, and it's not baked into the simpler "use" program.
One of the larger questions that would need to be addressed is at what point we stop with "literacy". if someone gets a black belt in "accounting literacy" that does not mean they are a black belt in "accounting". Or does it?
There may need to be 2 passes through the belts.
The first to get them using the software. Theory be damned.
The second pass, for those that want it, would require more theory and reading understanding to support their software use. or the second pass maybe be an Accounting Program (not litercy).
ie -- I've got a Green Belt in the BRICs Accounting Literacy Program vs I've got a Green Belt in the BRICs Accounting Program .
Or they just quickly get to blue purple or brown and then the theory comes in...
The following are the resources we currently have for this education.
This Website
The BRICs Practice Management Website - https://www.brics-practice-management.com/
The Sales System Software Website - https://sales-system-software.brics-practice-management.com/
The Bookkeeping Software Website - https://bookkeeping-software.brics-practice-management.com/
The ZAP Accounting Software Website - https://www.zap-accounting-software.com/
Each of the "software" websites listed above has it's own set of curriculum as well.
The Key to doing this properly will be mixing hands on learning with theory, so they always feel like they are gaining actual skills with each new belt (IMO).
